A native of New York City, Bobby Flay has come a long way in both the entertainment and restaurant industry since he discovered his culinary identity at the age of 17.

From his first appearance on Food Network in 1994, Flay has been a continued presence hosting programs which are both entertaining and informative, bringing cooking tips and information on American regional fare to a national audience. Flay’s show, Grillin’ & Chillin’, premiered in 1996, followed by Hot Off the Grill and Emmy award-winner Boy Meets Grill, as well as his hit series, Throwdown with Bobby Flay. Currently, the chef and culinary superstar can be seen in his most recent primetime hit series, Beat Bobby Flay, as well as his daytime Emmy award-winning Bobby Flay’s Barbecue Addiction. And on June 7th, he returns as co-host for season eleven of Food Network Star, where along with Giada De Laurentiis and Food Network execs, Flay will be looking for the next great television food personality. He can also be seen alongside many familiar Food Network faces in the new series Guilty Pleasures, reigning supreme in Kitchen Stadium as one of the original US Iron Chefs in Iron Chef America on Food Network, as well as Brunch @ Bobby’s, on both Food Network and sister network Cooking Channel. As if that weren’t enough, Flay is also a staple on numerous seasonal and holiday specials, including his most recent Emmy award-nominated, Thanksgiving at Bobby’s.

Flay’s shows have not only received several Emmy® awards and nominations, but also James Beard Foundation Awards and nominations as well as a People’s Choice Award nomination. In addition to his on-camera roles, Flay is a talented producer through his Rock Shrimp Productions banner, which is currently producing Beat Bobby Flay andBrunch @ Bobby’s and has previously delivered popular series 5 Ingredient Fix, Alex’s Day Off, Kelsey’s Essentials, Mexican Made Easy andSandwich King.  Flay also created Bobby Flay Fit, his first lifestyle series for FoodNetwork.com.

In addition to his extensive body of work on Food Network and Cooking Channel, Flay has also lent his culinary expertise to numerous talk shows and morning shows including CBS This Morning and the Today Show, sharing delicious recipes which he demonstrates with ease, making them accessible and achievable for a national audience. Flay also expanded his small screen credits out of the kitchen to include a star turn as himself on the HBO series Entourage.

Flay works tirelessly to challenge the way Americans view and taste food – making it bold, zesty and always fun. He continues to share his knowledge and enthusiasm for food through his cookbooks and cooking programs. Bobby’s thirteenth cookbook “Brunch @ Bobby’s” (Clarkson Potter) will hit bookstores in Fall 2015.

At the very young age of 17, Flay started working as a cook at the famed Theatre District haunt, Joe Allen’s. The job had been arranged by his father, who was a partner in the restaurant. After a short time, Joe Allen himself became so impressed by Flay’s talents that he paid the young cook’s tuition to the French Culinary Institute.

Following his graduation in 1984, Flay worked with restaurateur/owner Jonathan Waxman at Buds and Jams, where he first discovered the sweet-heat of Southwestern ingredients. It was at these burgeoning restaurants that Flay met other icons of the era – Wolfgang Puck, Jeremiah Tower – who he credits with spawning an entire generation of chefs. After Jams, Flay debuted as Executive Chef at the East Village’s Miracle Grill where he caught the attention of restaurateur Jerome Kretchmer. Kretchmer offered the 25-year old the opportunity to create his own sensation at Mesa Grill, which opened in 1991.

Two years later, Flay teamed with businessman Laurence Kretchmer to open Bolo in November 1993. During Bolo’s reign, Flay drew inspiration from the bravado and complexities of Spanish food, deftly blending the unique flavors of Spain with more familiar American ingredients. A decade later, Bolo was awarded a rare three stars by The New York Times.

Flay brought his unique amalgam of innovative food and inviting hospitality to Las Vegas with the 2004 opening of Mesa Grill at the legendary Caesars Palace. The City’s upbeat urban energy continues to provide an ideal backdrop for Mesa Grill’s lively cuisine.

At his New York eatery, Bar Americain, which opened in March 2005, Bobby Flay takes the intimacy of a midtown brasserie and injects it with authentic American flavors and style. Drawing from regional American ingredients, Flay’s dishes rejuvenate old classics and celebrate the abundance of America’s diverse and delicious heritage. Bar Americain has received rave reviews from the press, including two stars from The New York Times and in November 2009, Bobby Flay brought Bar Americain to Connecticut opening up in the Mohegan Sun.

Bobby Flay Steak, which opened in July 2006 in Atlantic City, is Flay’s first-ever steakhouse. At this restaurant, he presents classic steakhouse fare that he remembers enjoying as a child in New York City and on the Jersey Shore as well as new dishes that incorporate his famous grilling techniques and signature Southwestern fare.

In March 2007, Flay brought Mesa Grill to The Cove, Atlantis in Paradise Island, Bahamas and in July 2008, Bobby opened his first Bobby’s Burger Palace (BBP) in Long Island. At BBP,  Flay presents an array of burgers inspired by his extensive travels and love of the grill in a convenient casual setting. To date, there are 18 BBP outposts with additional locations on the way.   Flay’s sixth fine dining restaurant, Gato, opened March 2014 in New York City’s NOHO District. Gato opened to rave reviews from the press, including two stars from The New York Times, and a year later still remains one of the most sought-after reservations in downtown New York City.

Flay is personally involved with such non-profit organizations as Citymeals-on-Wheels, Make-A-Wish foundation, Food Network’s and Cooking Channel’s philanthropic wine and food festivals (NYCWFF & SOBEWFF). He is an equine welfare advocate and his passion for horses has helped raise funds for the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation (TRF) and the Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation. He has been awarded the Earle I. Mack Champion Award recognizing his efforts on behalf of the TRF.

Puck began cooking as a child, at his mother’s side. She was a chef in the Austrian town where he was born, Sankt Veit an der Glan and with her encouragement, Puck started his formal training at fourteen years of age. As a young chef, he worked in some of France’s greatest restaurants, including Maxim’s in Paris, the Hotel de Paris in Monaco, and the Michelin 2-starred L’Oustau de Baumanière in Les Baux-de-Provence, in France. In 1975, Puck came to Los Angeles and quickly garnered the attention of the Hollywood elite as chef of Ma Maison in West Hollywood. His dynamic personality and culinary brilliance that bridged tradition and invention made Ma Maison a magnet for the rich and famous, with Puck as the star attraction. He had an innate understanding of the potential for California cuisine, and was pivotal in its rise to national attention during the late 1970s.

From Ma Maison, Wolfgang went on to create his first flagship restaurant, Spago, originally located in West Hollywood on the Sunset Strip and now on Canon Drive in Beverly Hills. From its opening day in 1982, Spago was an instant success and a culinary phenomenon. Puck and his restaurant Spago earned many accolades during its popular eighteen years in West Hollywood, including winning the prestigious James Beard Foundation Award for Outstanding Chef of the Year,   in 1991 and 1998, and the James Beard Foundation Award for Restaurant of the Year in 1994. Puck is the only chef to have won the Outstanding Chef of the Year Award multiple times.

Watch below as the Hollywood Chamber honors Kevin Hart.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce proudly honored comedian Kevin Hart with the 2,591st star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday, October 10, 2016The star in the category of Live Performance was dedicated at 7013 Hollywood Boulevard next to DSW Shoes and Marshalls retail store.

Helping Emcee and Hollywood Chamber President/CEO Leron Gubler to unveil the star were Ice Cube, Will Packer and Tim Story.

“We are so excited to honor the hilarious Kevin Hart with a star on the Walk of Fame next to DSW Shoes,” stated Ana Martinez, Producer of the Walk of Fame ceremonies. Before Kevin took the entertainment world by storm, he honed his work ethic as a shoe salesman in his hometown of Philadelphia. It’s fitting that a man who has achieved so much in his career and given such joy to so many across the world has never forgotten where he comes from. If the shoe fits, Kevin…”

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce which administers the popular star ceremonies encourages people who are unable to attend and fans around the world to watch the event live exclusively on www.walkoffame.com.

If there’s one thingKevin Hart can do, it’s sell shoes. If there’s one thing Kevin Hart can do better than sell shoes, it’s explode into one of the foremost comedians and entertainers in the industry today.

After an electrifying performance at amateur night in a Philadelphia comedy club, Hart quit his shoe-salesman job and began performing full time at such venues as the Boston Comedy Club, Caroline’s on Broadway, Stand Up NY, the Laugh Factory and The Comedy Store in Los Angeles.  However, it was his first appearance at the Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival that led Hart into roles in feature films.

Hart’s recent movie projects include the animated film The Secret Life of Pets (Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures); the highest grossing live-action comedy Central Intelligence (New Line Cinema and Universal Pictures), Universal Pictures’ Ride Along 2, which grossed more than $100 million worldwide; Screen Gems’ The Wedding Ringer, which also starred Josh Gad; and Warner Bros.’ Get Hard, which also starred Will Ferrell.  Always the consummate worker, Hart is also a force in television, executive producing the show Real Husbands of Hollywood, which just started production on its fifth season.

In addition, Hart embarked on the multi-city domestic and international “What Now?” comedy tour.  Domestically, he sold out eight tri-state area arenas, including Madison Square Garden, Barclays Center, Prudential Center and Jones Beach Theater, selling over 100,000 tickets in the New York market.  He was also the first comedian to sell out an NFL stadium, selling over 50,000 tickets in one show.  Internationally, he sold out over a dozen arenas in the European market, selling over 150,000 tickets, and sold out arenas across Australia, selling 100,000 tickets.  Hart’s hit comedy tour grossed over $100 million worldwide.

Hart remained busy in 2012, hosting the MTV Video Music Awards, garnering much industry praise for his performance before his comedy tour, “Let Me Explain,” took him to 90 U.S. cities, as well as with Europe and Africa.  On his “Let Me Explain” tour, Hart became the second American in history to sell out London’s O2 Arena.  In fall 2012, Hart filmed two movies back to back: Ride Along and Screen Gems’ remake of About Last Night.  He continued his incredible run with a starring role in Screen Gems’ Think Like a Man, a comedy based on Steve Harvey’s best-selling book that grossed $95 million worldwide, as well as a supporting role in Nicholas Stoller’s comedy The Five-Year Engagement, produced by Judd Apatow for Universal Pictures.

In September 2011, Hart released Laugh at My Pain, the feature-film version of his comedy tour of the same name.  The movie grossed more than $7 million and was 2011’s most successful film released in fewer than 300 theaters.  The “Laugh at My Pain” tour was so successful, it catapulted Hart to 2011s No. 1 comedian on Ticketmaster; in February 2011, he sold out the Nokia Theater for two nights in a row, breaking the record previously set by Eddie Murphy.  This led to the Laugh at My Pain DVD hitting double platinum in February 2012, after being on sale for only a month.

Hart’s previous film credits include Little Fockers, which starred Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller; Death at a Funeral; Fool’s Gold; and The 40-Year-Old Virgin

In 2009, Hart’s one-hour Comedy Central special Kevin Hart: I’m a Grown Little Man became one of the highest-rated specials for the network.  In 2010, Hart’s Seriously Funny was one of the fastest-selling DVDs, going triple platinum, aided by the Comedy Central special of the same name, which was the year’s highest-rated comedy special.

Hart’s additional television credits include hosting BET’s classic stand-up comedy series Comic View: One Mic Stand; a starring role on ABC’sThe Big House, which he also executive produced and wrote; and recurring roles on Love, Inc., Barbershop and Undeclared.

Hart’s charity endeavors include donating funds to the Philadelphia school district for scholarships and to purchase new computers.

Well, the time has come and fans from around the world have booked their flights and are on their way to Hollywood to celebrate this momentous occasion,” stated Ana Martinez, Producer of the Walk of Fame ceremonies.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce which administers the popular star ceremonies encourages people who are unable to attend and fans around the world to watch the event live exclusively on www.walkoffame.com.

For more than 30 years, New Edition has mesmerized audiences with their signature choreographed shows, smooth vocal harmonies and electrifying showmanship cementing their place in history as one of the most successful touring groups ever. Boasting music’s most  loyal audience, 15 national tours, 18 multi-platinum albums, 4 American Music Awards, 14 No. 1 records and countless Billboard Top 20 hits, New Edition remains the unstoppable measurement of true R&B, Hip-Hop and Pop music.

The New Edition phenomenon was born in 1983 in Boston, MA with teenagers Ronnie DeVoe, Bobby Brown, Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, and Ralph Tresvant. In 1986, Bobby Brown left the group to begin a highly-charged solo career – soon after solo artist Johnny Gill joined the band. New Edition evolved stronger than ever with “Heartbreak,” their biggest selling album with three No. 1 songs. The amazing success has proved fruitful for the brand.

In 1989, New Edition orchestrated one of music’s biggest coups by simultaneously launching Ralph Tresvant and Johnny Gill’s solo albums, while Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins and Ronnie DeVoe created a high-octane group and new sound with Bell-Biv-DeVoe, which spawned the 4-times platinum cross- over hit “Poison”. Between the various projects, a cumulative 30-million records were sold and altogether, the men dominated Billboard charts, MTV, VH-1, BET and stadiums across the country.

New Edition laid the foundation for how modern-day boy bands look, feel, and sound. Boyz II Men, N’SYNC, The Backstreet Boys, and New Kids On The Block all took their cues from Ronnie DeVoe, Ralph Tresvant, Michael Bivins, Bobby Brown, Ricky Bell & Johnny Gill. After 30 years of breaking hearts on the record and from the stage, New Edition finally gets the biopic that their stellar tenure in entertainment so richly deserves. This epic three-part miniseries follows the group from their humble beginnings as kids in Boston to global mega-stardom – weathering the highs and lows of controversy, personnel changes, and the ultimate cost of fame. THE NEW EDITION STORY includes a collective of award-winning producers and directors including iconic music powerhouses James “Jimmy Jam” Harris, Terry Lewis and Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, Executive Producer Jesse Collins and award-winning director Chris Robinson. THE NEW EDITION STORY will air as a six hour, three night event on January 24, 25, and 26, 2017 at 9 PM ET/PT on BET.

New Edition is officially a movement that turns the band into an R&B mega-group with its dynamic, razor sharp choreography and larger-than-life on-stage persona which remain undeniable wow-factor that continue to fascinate audiences all over the world.

As both the front man and primary songwriter of the multi-GRAMMY Award-winning band Maroon 5, Adam Levine continues to indelibly impact the face of modern popular music. Adam’s characteristic falsetto, a consistent infectious driving force behind scores of hit pop anthems and heartfelt ballads, has helped propel Maroon 5 into fast becoming one of the most successful worldwide acts in today’s popular music.

A native of Los Angeles, Adam founded the band Kara’s Flowers while still attending Brentwood High School. A few years later, the group would eventually transform into Maroon 5, quickly winning over both fans and critics alike with their hybrid pop rock/R&B sound. Since that time, Maroon 5 have gone on to quite an impressive career with both critical as well as commercial success. Their discography features a succession of five multi-platinum studio albums that have resulted in more than $20-million in sales, three GRAMMY Awards, 12 GRAMMY nominations, as well as gold and platinum certifications in over 35 countries. The band holds a Top 40 record that boasts a total of nine N. 1 hits among pop groups.

In 2011, Adam was the first artist to have a No. 1 Top 40 hit with Maroon 5’s “Move Like Jagger,” while simultaneously having another Top 10 solo hit on the Billboard chart with “Stereo Hearts,” (when he guested with Gym Class Heroes, which later went on to be No. 1). And in 2015, Adam remarkably hit No. 1 again when he was featured on “Locked Away” by R. City.

In addition to their immense sales history and chart dominance, Maroon 5 is also one of the most successful touring artists in pop music. When their current tour concludes in March 2017, the band will have played over 120 concerts in 30+ countries with more than 2,500,000 fans in attendance.

Outside of Maroon 5, Adam has recently broadened his entertainment resume to include both TV and motion picture roles. In February 2017, Adam will be returning for the 12th season as a coach (three-time winner) on the top-rated, three time EMMY Award winning NBC hit series The Voice (US). Adam’s other TV credits include American Horror Story: Asylum, Family Guy and 30 Rock, to name a few.

In 2015, Adam was cast in a major role in director John Carney’s acclaimed film Begin Again alongside Keira Knightley and Mark Ruffalo. Adam also performed the film’s theme song entitled “Lost Stars,” which earned an Academy Award nomination for “Best Original Song.” Adam partnered once again with Carney to co-write the song “Go Now,” featured on the soundtrack for Carney’s 2016 critically-acclaimed movie Sing Street (The Weinstein Company).

Next up, Levine will appear in the upcoming filmsFun Mom Night that features Molly Shannon and Toni Collette and The Clapper, alongside Ed Helms and Amanda Seyfried.
