Raised in Monticello, Georgia, Trisha drew inspiration from legends like Patsy Cline and Linda Ronstadt. She pursued a degree in music business at Belmont University in Nashville, gaining industry experience as an intern at MTM Records before making her mark as a session singer. Her self-titled 1991 debut album made history when “She’s in Love with the Boy” became the first debut single by a female artist to hit No. 1 on the charts. She followed with a string of platinum and gold albums featuring timeless hits like “Walkaway Joe,” “XXX’s and OOO’s (An American Girl),” and “How Do I Live.”

In 2019, she released Every Girl, her first full-length country album in over a decade, followed by Every Girl: Deluxe, featuring an acoustic version of “She’s in Love with the Boy.” In 2021, the song made history as the most-listened-to country song by a female artist in the history of Billboard’s Country Airplay Charts.
For the first time in her career, Trisha is set to release an album where she co-wrote every song, ushering in a new chapter as a singer-songwriter. The first single, “Put It In A Song,” was hailed by Rolling Stone as “an instant classic.” Fans can experience the new music live on her upcoming seven-city theater tour, running from April 30 to May 17, where she will blend new songs with timeless favorites.
