Sarah Paulson will be honored with the 2,829th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday, December 2nd at 11:30 am PT at 6533 Hollywood Boulevard. Paulson will receive her star in the category of Television. Joining emcee Dayna Devon will be Holland Taylor and Amanda Peet.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce administers the legendary Walk of Fame for the City of Los Angeles and has proudly hosted the globally iconic star ceremonies for decades. Millions of people from here and around the world have visited this cultural landmark since 1960.

Award-winning actress and producer Sarah Paulson has built an impressive list of credits in film, television and on stage.
Paulson won a 2024 Tony® Award for ‘Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Play’ for her role as Toni Lafayette in Broadway’s critically acclaimed and Tony® Award-winning Appropriate, a darkly comic American family drama by Pulitzer Prize winner, Branden Jacobs-Jenkins. For her performance, Paulson also won The Drama League Award for Distinguished Performance, and the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Lead Performance in a Play.
Upcoming, Paulson will appear in the fourth season of Murphy and Ian Brennan’s Netflix anthology series Monster, in which she will play serial killer Aileen Wournos. She will also make her return to the American Horror Story franchise in Season 13. Also upcoming is Bruce Norris’ film adaptation of his Pulitzer-, Tony- and Olivier award-winning play, Clybourne Park.
Most recently, Paulson can be seen starring in Hulu’s All’s Fair, alongside Glenn Close, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash Betts, Kim Kardashian and Teyana Taylor. Created by Ryan Murphy, the series logged the biggest Hulu Originals Scripted debut launch in three years.
In 2024, Paulson guest starred in Amazon’s Mr. & Mrs. Smith, subsequently earning her ninth Emmy® nomination. She also recurs as ‘Cousin Michelle’ in FX’s critically acclaimed The Bear, appearing in Season 2 and Season 4.
Paulson's first Emmy® win for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or Movie was earned for her portrayal of attorney ‘Marcia Clark’ in FX’s critically acclaimed miniseries The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story. Paulson also received a Golden Globe® Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, a Critics’ Choice Award and a Television Critics Association Award for this role. Paulson also executive produced and starred as ‘Linda Tripp’ in FX’s Impeachment: American Crime Story, earning her eighth Emmy® nomination.
She previously starred in 10 installments of Ryan’s Murphy’s award-winning television series American Horror Story for FX. In addition to starring as multiple characters in season 10, she also made her directorial debut with the 78-minute crossover episode, “Return to Murder House.” Paulson has received five Emmy® nominations for her roles in the franchise: ‘Ally Mayfair-Richards' in American Horror Story: Cult; ‘Sally’ in American Horror Story: Hotel; conjoined twins ‘Bette and ‘Dot Tattler’ in American Horror Story: Freak Show; ‘Cordelia Foxx’ in American Horror Story: Coven and ‘Lana Winters’ in American Horror Story: Asylum. She has also earned two Critics’ Choice Awards for her roles in the anthology series. Her other television work includes Hulu’s Emmy® -nominated limited series Mrs. America, and HBO’s Coastal Elites.
Paulson served as executive producer and played the title role in the Netflix series, Ratched. The series, which centers on the early life of ‘Mildred Ratched’ from the 1962 Ken Kesey novel, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, debuted at number one across 50 countries worldwide and earned Paulson a Golden Globe® nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Drama.
Paulson received her first Emmy® nomination and second Golden Globe® nomination for her role as ‘Nicolle Wallace’ in HBO's critically acclaimed telefilm Game Change. Her first Golden Globe® nomination was for her performance in Aaron Sorkin's Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip for NBC.
Paulson’s additional film credits include Warner Bros. Ocean’s 8, which opened at number one in the U.S. and topped the opening-weekend figures of each of the previous Ocean’s films; Todd Haynes’ critically acclaimed Carol alongside Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara; Steve McQueen's 12 Years a Slave, which received an Academy Award® for Best Picture; and Jeff Nichols' Mud alongside Reese Witherspoon and Matthew McConaughey, for which the cast received the Robert Altman Award at the Film Independent Spirit Awards. She has also appeared in Steven Spielberg’s The Post opposite Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep; Aneesh Chaganty’s Run for Hulu; Searchlight’s horror thriller Hold Your Breath; M. On stage, in addition to her Tony winning performance in Appropriate, she previously starred on Broadway in Collected Stories opposite Linda Lavin; as ‘Laura Wingfield’ in The Glass Menagerie alongside Jessica Lange; The Cherry Orchard alongside Alfred Molina and Annette Bening, Tracy Letts’ critically acclaimed Killer Joe, and Roundabout Theatre Company’s production of Lanford Wilson’s Pulitzer Prize winning play Talley’s Folly.
