Actress Naomi Watts will be honored with the 2,825th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on October 13th at 11:30 am PT at 6201 Hollywood Boulevard. Watts will receive her star in the category of Motion Pictures.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce administers the legendary Walk of Fame for the City of Los Angeles and has proudly hosted the globally iconic star ceremonies for decades. Millions of people from here and around the world have visited this cultural landmark since 1960.

Naomi Watts is an award-winning actor, producer, activist, and Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Stripes Beauty. She has Academy Award nominations for her performances in 21 Grams and The Impossible and starred in Birdman, which won the Oscar for Best Picture. Watts also earned multiple awards and critical acclaim for her roles in films including Mulholland Drive, St. Vincent and Mother and Child, and is well known for King Kong, The Ring, and its sequel, among many other films. Watts next stars in The Housewife, and recently executive produced and starred with Bill Murray in The Friend. She also produced and starred in The Painted Veil, Funny Games, Adore and 3 Generations.

On television, she earned her first Emmy nomination for her impeccable performance in Ryan Murphy’s Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans (FX), which she also executive produced. She executive produces and stars in Murphy’s upcoming Hulu drama All’s Fair, and will star in Murphy’s FX anthology series Love Story, portraying Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. She has also starred in The Watcher, The Loudest Voice, Twin Peaks: The Return, and Gypsy, which she also produced, and appeared in Too Much.

Watts is a successful businesswoman and uses her platform to raise awareness about important social issues. She adds author to her list of accomplishments with her New York Times’ bestselling book, Dare I Say It: Everything I Wish I'd Known About Menopause (Crown).
