Actress Christina Ricci was honored with the 2,803rd star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, March 6, at 11:30 am PT at 6258 Hollywood Boulevard in front of the W Hollywood Hotel. Ricci received her star in the category of Motion Pictures. Joining emcee Sophie Flay will be Director Patty Jenkins and actor, producer, writer Dan Bucatinsky.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce administers the legendary Walk of Fame for the City of Los Angeles and has proudly hosted the globally iconic star ceremonies for decades. Millions of people from here and around the world have visited this cultural landmark since 1960.

Two-time Golden Globe®, SAG®, and Emmy® nominee Christina Ricci is one of Hollywood’s most respected actors.

Ricci can currently be seen reprising her fan-favorite role as ‘Misty Quigley’ in the third season of Showtime’s hit drama series Yellowjackets, a performance that earned her an Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. In 2022, she appeared in Tim Burton’s Wednesday, Netflix’s second most-watched English-language series of all time, which received an Emmy® nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series. Ricci’s career spans a diverse array of acclaimed performances. She gained widespread recognition in Ang Lee’s The Ice Storm before earning Golden Globe®, American Comedy Award, and Independent Spirit Award nominations for her role as Dedee Truitt in the dark comedy The Opposite of Sex.

She also recently wrapped production on the action-comedy Guns Up, opposite Kevin James, as ‘Alice’. The movie follows an ex-cop and family man who moonlights as a mob henchman, when a job going horribly wrong gives him one night to get his family out of the city. Written and directed by Edward Drake, the film is set for a 2025 release.

Ricci’s acting career began at age seven when a local theater critic noticed her standout performance in a school Christmas play. She made her professional acting debut one year later in Mermaids, in the pivotal role of ‘Kate Flax’, Cher’s youngest daughter and Winona Ryder’s sister. As a child actor, Ricci won over audiences and critics alike with her winning portrayal of the strangely adorable Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family and the sequel Addams Family Values. She went on to star in the surprise hit of the summer 1995 season, Casper. For that, Ricci received the NATO Show East Star of the Year Award and the Star of Tomorrow Award from the Motion Picture Bookers Club, for her strong performances and the $100 million-plus box office successes of The Addams Family and Casper.
