Actress Jessica Chastain was honored with the 2,819th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, September 4, at 11:30 am PT at 6258 Hollywood Boulevard. Chastain received her star in the category of Motion Pictures. Joining emcee Kit Hoover were Viola Davis and Al Pacino.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce administers the legendary Walk of Fame for the City of Los Angeles and has proudly hosted the globally iconic star ceremonies for decades. Millions of people from here and around the world have visited this cultural landmark since 1960.

Academy Award winning actor and producer Jessica Chastain is known for her transformative performances and bold, narrative-driven storytelling through her production company, Freckle Films. One of the most acclaimed actors of her generation, Chastain has won the Academy Award, SAG Award, and Critics Choice Award for The Eyes of Tammy Faye; earned Emmy, Golden Globe, and SAG nominations for Showtime’s George & Tammy; received a Tony nomination and Drama Desk Award for A Doll’s House on Broadway; and garnered Oscar nominations for The Help and Zero Dark Thirty.
Chastain will next lead and produce the Apple TV+ limited series The Savant, inspired by the true story of a woman who infiltrates online hate groups to prevent mass violence. In December 2024, she was honored with the prestigious American Cinematheque Award, recognizing her outstanding contributions to the art of film. Beyond her screen work, Chastain is a passionate advocate for gender equality and humanitarian causes.
