The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that Raúl De Molina and Lili Estefan will be honored with the 2,801st and 2,802nd stars respectively on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, February 27, at 11:30 am PT at 7076 Hollywood Boulevard. Both honorees will receive their stars in the category of Television.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce administers the legendary Walk of Fame for the City of Los Angeles and has proudly hosted the globally iconic star ceremonies for decades. Millions of people from here and around the world have visited this cultural landmark since 1960.

Raúl De Molina is the three-time Emmy award-winning co-host of Univision Network’s #1-rated entertainment show, El Gordo y la Flaca, celebrating more than twenty years of entertaining audiences around the globe. During his time at Univision, De Molina has helped expand El Gordo y la Flaca from a small niche program to a wide-reaching mainstream talk show, spanning multiple demographics and garnering a large, devoted fan base of over 1.5 million followers on Instagram and 1.2 million on Twitter.
De Molina was named one of People en Español’s most influential Hispanics in the U.S. for his unique ability to transcend audiences and appeal to the non-Hispanic U.S. market. His position at the nexus of several demographics provides him key insights on how to reach multiple generations outside of the Hispanic community. In 2015, El Gordo y la Flaca won Univision its first Daytime Emmy Award.
Famous for his energetic and colorful reporting style, De Molina covers major news events for Univision and has hosted their annual New Year’s Eve countdown in Times Square for 27 years and counting. A compelling and dynamic reporter, De Molina has been dispatched around the world covering a multitude of international live events, including the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II, the Coronation of King Charles III, and the World Cups in France, Germany, South Africa, and Brazil. He has hosted The Red Carpet at the Latin Grammys every year since 1997, covered the Indy 500 and Holy Week at the Vatican, and has also served as a judge for both Iron Chef America and the Miss America pageant.
In addition to his successful career in television, De Molina is well-known for his distinguished style, gastronomy, and global tourism. As one of the original contributors to Huffington Post’s Food section, De Molina has written extensively about food and his travels around the world, eating at the top restaurants. A renowned art collector, De Molina is a member of Miami Art Basel’s host committee and hosts an annual kickoff party each year.
Previously, De Molina worked for the Associated Press and National Enquirer as a professional photographer during the 1980s. His work has been featured in various national and international publications including Time, Life, Newsweek, and Paris Match, among others.
Lili Estefan, known affectionately as La Flaca, has won the hearts of millions of viewers with her charismatic personality and signature smile. She is a cultural icon and trailblazing media personality whose career has shaped entertainment journalism for nearly four decades. As the co-host of Univision’s El Gordo y la Flaca since its launch in 1998, she has set the gold standard for celebrity news, delivering exclusive interviews, red carpet coverage, and breaking stories to millions across the U.S. and Latin America. The show remains the most influential source of entertainment news for Hispanic audiences. Estefan expands her reach with her loyal fans on social media platforms with almost 4 million followers on Instagram and 3 million on Facebook.
Estefan’s impact extends far beyond television. A multi-Emmy Award-winning personality, she has received a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Daytime Talent in Spanish (2018), Premio Lo Nuestro Career Achievement Award (2017), and Moves Power Women of the year (2016) - a first for a Hispanic woman in television. In 2024, she was honored with the Chair’s Award from the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, recognizing her influence as a media leader and advocate for the Latino community.
Her journey began in 1986 on Sábado Gigante, the longest-running variety show in television history. Her natural charisma led to Lili, Cámara, Acción, a popular entertainment segment on Noticias 23, establishing her as a trusted voice in entertainment news. Over the years, she has hosted Univision’s biggest specials, including Premio Lo Nuestro, Nuestra Navidad, Siempre Selena, The 40th Anniversary of Sábado Gigante, among many others.
Beyond television, Estefan has made her mark in film, digital media, and radio. She co-starred in the Emmy Award-winning franchise Red Table Talk: The Estefans alongside Gloria and Emily Estefan, expanding her reach to global audiences. She has also appeared in Zombieland: Double Tap (2019), Vivo (2021), and Ice Age: The Great Egg-Scapade (2016). A seasoned radio host, Estefan was a dominant voice in Miami radio for years, waking up audiences with her energy and charm on top-rated morning shows.
A dedicated philanthropist, Estefan has a passion for children’s causes, supporting the life-changing work of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and numerous organizations that assist children with disabilities. She has also served as the national spokesperson for influenza vaccination awareness in the Hispanic community, using her platform to drive public health initiatives.
