HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME CLASS OF 2025 ANNOUNCED BY WALK OF FAMERS NIECY NASH, JIMMY JAM AND JOE MANTEGNA


A new group of entertainment professionals in the categories of Motion Pictures, Television, Live Theatre/Live Performance, Radio, Recording and Sports Entertainment have been selected to receive stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame by the Walk of Fame Selection Panel of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. These honorees were chosen from among hundreds of nominations to the committee at a meeting held on June 14, 2024 and ratified by the Hollywood Chamber’s Board of Directors on the same day.  Steven Nissen, Hollywood Chamber of Commerce President and Walk of Famers actors Niecy Nash, Joe Mantegna and music producer Jimmy Jam announced the new honorees at a live press conference on Monday, June 24th.

The new selections were revealed to the world via the Walk of Fame website on www.walkoffame.com beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 24th from Ovation Hollywood.

“The Walk of Fame has made history again! As Chairman of the Walk of Fame Selection Committee, I am thrilled to announce the distinguished honorees who will grace the iconic Walk of Fame in the Class of 2025. Each honoree truly embodies the essence of excellence in their respective fields,” stated Peter Roth, Chairman. The committee and I cannot wait to see our honorees becoming part of this world-famous walkway!” added Roth.

The Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2025 are:

In the category of MOTION PICTURES:  John Carpenter, Jessica Chastain, Bill Duke, Robert Englund, Emilio Estevez, Colin Farrell, Jane Fonda, Nia Long, Lisa Lu, Glynn Turman and Toni Vaz

In the category of TELEVISION: Fran Drescher, Lauren Graham, Bill Nye, Molly Shannon, Sherri Shepherd, Courtney B. Vance, Chris Wallace, Trey Parker and Matt Stone (double ceremony)

In the category of RECORDING: Fantasia, Depeche Mode, Los Bukis, The B-52s, Green Day, The Isley Brothers, Busta Rhymes, George Strait, Keith Urban, WAR  and Prince (Posthumous)

In the category of LIVE THEATRE/LIVE PERFORMANCE:  Misty Copeland and Alan Cumming

In the category of RADIO:   Adam Carolla

In the category of Sports Entertainment:  David Beckham and Orel Hershiser

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and its Walk of Fame Selection Panel congratulate all the honorees. Dates have not been scheduled for these star ceremonies. Recipients have two years to schedule star ceremonies from the date of selection before they expire. Upcoming star ceremonies are usually announced ten days prior to dedication on the official website www.walkoffame.com.
