Gary Collins
Gary Ennis Collins is an American film and television actor.
Collins was born in Venice, California to a waitress/factory worker mother. After attending Santa Monica City College, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in Europe, where he performed as a radio and television personality for the Armed Forces Network.
He starred in the 1972 television series The Sixth Sense as parapsychologist Dr. Michael Rhodes and in the 1974 series Born Free as wildlife conservationist George Adamson. He co-starred, with Jack Warden and Mark Slade, in the 1965 series The Wackiest Ship in the Army.
Collins has guest-starred on dozens of television shows since the 1960’s, including Perry Mason, Hawaii Five-O, The Six Million Dollar Man, The Love Boat, Charlie’s Angels, Friends, and JAG.
